TERMS AND CONDITIONS-PRIVATE YACHT DUBAI
Important Information:
The Dubai Coast Guard has strict rules, and if they’re not followed fines can happen. If any fines are incurred due to not following the rules or instructions from our Captain and Crew, we may need to pass those on to you. By booking with us, you agree to follow these terms and conditions.
1. Identification Requirements:
All guests must bring original identity with them.
Tourists: Original Passport required.
Residents: Passport, Emirates ID, or Emirates Driving License is acceptable.
Failure to present valid identification may result in a fine of up to AED 1500 per person, which will be charged to you under the damage waiver agreement.
2. Alcohol and Behaviour:
Alcohol abuse may lead to fines or immediate termination of the charter, no refund will be provided.
3. Safety Requirements:
Life Jackets: Guests must wear life jackets when asked by the Coast Guard or in the event of a weather warning.
Swimming Restrictions: Swimming after sunset and more than three meters from the yacht is prohibited.
Jumping Off the Yacht: Jumping from the yacht, either underway or at anchor, is strictly prohibited and will result in the immediate termination of the charter.
4. Littering and Environmental Policies:
Littering in the waters is illegal and will result in fines.
- Water Toys and Jet Skis:
- Jet Ski & Water Toys: Guests are not permitted to use Jet Skis or other water toys operated by third parties during the charter, unless they have been pre-booked through us to ensure compliance with our insurance agreements.
- Guest Numbers and Catering:
- Guest Numbers: Final guest numbers must be confirmed the night before the charter. No additional guests may be added on the day of the charter.
- Catering: Final catering numbers must also be confirmed the night before. In case of cancellation or amendments to catering, the full cost will be charged.
- Own Catering: You are not permitted to bring your own catering on board, except for dry items such as pizzas, sandwiches, crisps, and snacks. If you bring your own food, you must also supply your own disposable cutlery and plates.
- Children and Supervision:
- Captain and Crew: The Captain and Crew are responsible for the safe operation of the vessel. They are not responsible for attending to children or supervising their safety.
- Children’s Safety: Children under 10 years old must wear a life jacket when on deck or in the water, as per Coast Guard regulations.
- Supervision of Minors: All guests under 21 years old must be supervised by a responsible adult.
- Children under 1 year old: Only children aged 1 year and older are allowed on board the yacht.

Damage Liabilities
Pre-Authorization Deposit:
- When you arrive at the marina, you’ll be asked for a pre-authorization of AED 1,500 on your credit card. If you prefer, you can provide cash, which will be refunded at the end of your trip. The deposit will cover any damages, extra packages, or additional services during your charter.
- Damage Notification and Charges:
If the client or their guests cause damage to the vessel, they will be notified in writing within 24 hours. A contractor will provide a repair or replacement quote, which will be sent to the client. The cost will be charged to the card used for the booking, and the quoted amount will be final.
- Additional Cleaning Fees:
Any additional cleaning required as a result of your charter (e.g., spills, stains, or excessive mess) will incur an extra charge.
- Fines for Non-Compliance:
Any fines imposed by the local marine authority due to actions or non-compliance with our policies by the lead-named charterer or their guests will be charged under the damage waiver agreement.
- Limitation of Liability:
We accept no liability or responsibility for any loss, additional expenses, accident, injury, sickness, or death that may occur during your charter.
- Pets:
No animals or pets of any sort may be taken on board.
- Smoking Policy:
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the interior of the yacht. Failure to comply will result in the immediate termination of the charter, and no refund will be provided.
Examples of Fines:
- Swimming during restricted hours: AED 5,000
- Failure to provide identification for guests on board: AED 1,500 per person
- Jumping from the yacht while cruising: AED 10,000
- Littering in the water: AED 5,000
Cancellations & Refunds
- Our Right to Cancel:
We reserve the right to cancel any booking at our discretion. If we cancel the charter, we will offer a full refund to the named charterer. No further liability will be accepted. - Reasons for Cancellation:
Cancellations will only occur due to bad weather conditions, mechanical failure, Coast Guard restrictions, or enforcement of new laws prohibiting the charter from going ahead. In these cases, we will offer satisfactory alternative options or reschedule the booking. - Cancellation Fee Policy:
- 50% of the booking value will be retained if you cancel up to 72 hours before the charter time and date.
- 100% of the booking value will be retained if you cancel within 72 hours of the charter time and date.
- Free Cancellations:
You may cancel free of charge if:- The weather is deemed unsafe, or a warning has been issued by the Coast Guard.
- We fail to provide an agreed-upon aspect of the charter on the day of the booking.
- Confirmation of Cancellation:
Cancellations must be confirmed by the client before the charter time lapses to be valid.
Online Payment Terms
- Accepted Payment Methods:
We accept payments via Visa and MasterCard in AED currency for all bookings. - Sanctions Compliance:
We do not engage in trade or provide services to individuals or entities from countries or regions subject to OFAC or other international sanctions. - Eligibility to Use the Website:
Users of our website must be 18 years or older. Minors are not permitted to register, transact, or use the website. - Cardholder Responsibility:
You are responsible for any charges resulting from damages or violations during the charter. These will be charged to the cardholder’s account, and you agree to pay these charges promptly.
